Newest Member of my Family ♡

Welcome to the family, Cinnabun! I am now a mother to a ~6 week old bunny! I adopted him from my local shelter and he was with 4 other baby bunnies, although he was the runt of the litter- if he is even from the same litter. His "siblings" all have different facial features than Cinnabun, making it hard to tell where he came from. Of course, it was already suspicious enough when the people who dropped them off at the shelter had a hard time explaining where they found them. Nonetheless, the bunnies are in a good home now and are healthy!

Cinnabun looks like he has mites or an allergic reaction on his foot (can't get a picture), however it looks like it's getting better. He was treated for mites by the vet, along with the other bunnies. They are constantly eating, which is very good, and today we just got them a huge play pen! We got them a natural fiber rug so they don't slip on the hardwood floor (you can't put them on carpet yet as the softness will rub on their undersides, causing them to pee since they like the softness). They bounce around and jump and run around very well! Cinnabun is a little timid and more aloft compared to the other bunnies, but he loves to be held! He nips a lot, particularly towards my boyfriend's little sister, but I have never gotten bit yet.

Cinnabun is a brown bunny, as pictured above, but he is easily distinguishable from his other siblings as he is the tiniest but also has more white on his head and underside compared to the other brown bunny- which is the biggest of the bunch. Unfortunately, the people who found them nor the vet know what breed these bunnies are, if they're even all of the same breed. The other bunnies' ears are getting very long, making it seem like they will grow up to become huge!

All 5 bunnies had to be fostered in a home for 2 weeks and be allowed to be handled and exercise in a large area so they can learn how to run around and jump and get some space. Having 5 buns in a cage, even a large one, isn't that big for them to jump around! They love this play pen. Unfortunately, they aren't potty trained yet as they're too young so there's a lot of poop pellets and pee everywhere. A couple use the litter box, but not all of them know how to use it yet (including Cinnabun)!

I will be sad once the 4 other bunnies will leave, as I have already grown so attached to them :( One of the grey ones is already adopted (the one with more white on its side). Hopefully the other 3 will find good homes with caring and loving owners
